It all starts with the first call.
Before making things official, I hop on a call with every client so we can feel each other out! It’s usually a call filled with connection, intimate secrets, and a few giggles.
I'll ask you things like; “When you close your eyes at night and dream about your ideal shot, are you on a mountaintop surrounded by a sea of peaks? Are you on an ocean cliff listening to the waves crash? Are you getting helicoptered onto an ancient glacier?” I gather up a ton of info about you and the vision you have for your day, and then I use my years of experience working in this surreal landscape, to create the ideal adventure.
We spend the next few weeks, months, or even a year planning your elopement, intimate wedding, or portrait session.
Instead of searching for things like limo companies to shuttle you from the chapel to the reception, I'm sending you things like helicopter companies that charter you out to glaciers or a sea charter to get you out to a remote lighthouse.
We usually text back and forth about your outfit ideas, what hiking shoes you’re pairing with that dress, the honeymoon excursions you’re planning, etc.
Here’s the thing, I've done this a few times (over a 100 times, actually) and I know a thing or two about finding the most epic spots to fit the mood that we are going for.
And the best part about it all is this process brings us so much closer to each other. By the time we actually meet up in real life, we are already friends.
Today's the day! We’ve been planning and daydreaming about for so long! This day is going to be incredibly fun, intimate, romantic, adventurous, wild, and beautiful.
You might be getting ready at a cabin in the woods, a local historic B&B, or you may be butt-ass naked changing outfits in the back of a car. You might have a few of your closest friends and family with you, or maybe it’s just you and your partner, or simply your badass self. We might be going on a full day hike together or driving to a remote location. We may climb up a mountain peak, or hop in a float plane and land at an alpine lake in the middle of nowhere.
No matter how our adventure shakes out, it’s going to be brilliant – and I’ll capture every moment of it.
When it comes time for your images to be revealed, I'll send over a link to your personal online gallery.
This can take. anywhere from 2-6 weeks, depending on the season and how needy my twins are being. This is where the next phase of art takes place. You will be receiving images that are cropped, with color and light corrections. These images will look awesome when you share them on social media but if you have some favorites that will become art on your walls or in an album, then I will go in and make further edits to fit your order.
Speaking of your order... I offer a carefully curated line of print products that I source from environmentally and geographically conscious companies. I will offer collections or a la carte products to put the cherry on top of your photographic experience with me.
